DCC Sound for a Heljan class 52 'Western'(1) — rodney — 22/01/2010 19:14:10 | Of the independent suppliers - Howes, Olivias, Southwest Digital etc - can anyone recommend which may be the best sound system to fit to a Heljan Western.
It might also be good to know which ones to avoid and why.

DCC Sound for a Heljan class 52 'Western'(2) — mikeg — 23/01/2010 16:45:56 | Have a look on utube, as there are some good clips of sound locos with the various chips in them. As a satisfied customer I would use SWD as they supplied me with an 08 chip that has taken a lot of getting to know, I've hit the buffers and the odd wagon quite hard at first, but have now got it tamed, I think!
