An original oil painting by Philip Hawkins, FGRA. We understand that it was originally commissioned by a railway locomotive kit manufacturer, MK Kits (?), now defunct.
Chance for all of you to take a look at it before it goes under the hammer at Sheffield Railwayana auctions in March.

Nice to see that Hornby are planning to bring out a streamlined Coronation this year. But if you like oil paintings and Coronations....
Shame we don't have room to display it ourselves!
