At a penny under &#pound;15.00 in large format paperback, you will find a breathtaking overview in breadth and depth which contains many high quality and significant colour illustrations. Despite its ponderous title it is not at all 'gricer fare' and the lightly woven captions contain all the information that a modeller or historian might require. Detail shots of wagon parts, classical landscape, historic architecture and social commentary are contained within these cost effective covers, and besides the British freight stock the subjects covered range from narrow gauge to Irish and American style contemporary stock.
This well organised book ends with a two stage Appendix and Glossary, plus a family tree. Excellent value and of the highest quality, utility, style and layout - I liked it!
